Isaiah went to the doctor yesterday. His arm is not healed yet. The doctor put a new cast on his arm. He is a little bummed out. He goes back in two weeks to get it checked again.
My room at school is over 85 degrees. It is so terrible. I had to take a shower after I came home from work today. I really don't understand how 11 year olds are expected to learn anything in that kind of heat. The only only only upside is that since the kids are so hot and miserable, they keep their mouths closed. :-)
We went to Open House tonight. Lots of people as always. We met Isaiah's teacher. She seems nice. She was a lot younger than I thought she was. Isaiah seems to like her. She told me that he likes to talk. Cory and I told her not to let him talk when he's not supposed to be. He can be very cute and very smooth, but he shouldn't be getting away with stuff. :-)
Jeremiah's teacher said that he is doing very very well. She put his seat right next to her and whenever she does story time she makes sure he is right next to her. She couldn't believe how well he can read and how well he works. That's what I was trying to tell them over there---he CAN read! he CAN write! he CAN add! And I don't want him going backwards. I guess she already talked to the gifted teacher about getting him some enrichment work. Evidently the principal told the teacher that I didn't want Jeremiah in her room. The gifted teacher, who is a friend of mine, talked to his teacher about all this. The gifted teacher assured Jeremiah's teacher that it was nothing personal against her and that I am just very concerned about his hearing.
I don't know, I may have to add that principal to "my list". Why would she tell the teacher that? My only concern with that teacher is that she is very quiet! I never said she wasn't a good teacher or anything like that.
By the way, one day I will blog "my list". The superintendent over at Rochester is still on it! I took Matt off of it a while back. He has been a sweetheart since Kristen came around!

I'm glad to hear Matt is off of the list! I've got my own list going. It should get shorter after tomorrow. What time is the twerp game? If I can't make it this Saturday, maybe I can come and hang out next week.
Kristen, you know I was kidding. I would never make you work the concession stand. It sucks so bad! I hate it.
Come to one of Jordan's games. Now that is fun.
I'm going to try to get to one of Jordan's games really soon, before the weather gets too cold. I used to work the concession stand at my brother's baseball games when he was little. I wouldn't mind helping out!
i hate school when its hot and sticky, and uniforms dont make it any better!>:(
i wish it was still summer ;(
