I prayed really hard on Friday morning and I asked the Lord to please let me have a good, quiet, peaceful day at school. I told him I didn't care if that meant that key players were absent, suspended or just calm. And the Lord is so awesome because he did just that. A few key players were absent, other key players were calm and some were suspended! It was nice.

Isaiah had a game tonight and we won! Yeah! Isaiah had 5 points and he played really well. He flattened some kids while he was playing defense though. It was funny seeing his little self knock some bigger kid right over. They did call Isaiah for a foul, but that is okay.

We went to Cracker Barrell for dinner last night. I think Cory is getting tired of my cooking. As soon as I walked in the door from school he told me we were going out! It was very nice. And no one got pancakes so I didn't have to cut up any food!

After we ate at Cracker Barrell, Jordan and his friends went to Ichiban Japanese Steak House. I don't know how he can eat like that, but he manages. He said it was very good. They cook your food right in front of you.

Our truck is finally cleared to be fixed on Monday. The insurance company requested that the shop order a used tailgate. So that took a few extra days to come in. When the part came, the shop decided the used tail gate was junk so they sent it back and ordered us a new one. In the mean time, we still have the rental car, which the insurance company is paying for. So wouldn't it have been cheaper to just order new parts and get my truck fixed as soon as possible and not continue paying for a rental car?

Two more weeks of school and then it will be Christmas break! I will have 11 days off! Can't wait!

Christmas list:

#holiday cards are here but not mailed
#outside christmas lights are done--although the front lights are a little bit ugly so I might need to change them around a bit
#inside decorations are up

things not done....
*tree
*shopping
*wrapping
*cookies

You'd think I should be stressed, but I am not. (At least I don't think I am.)
