Some Random thoughts and a cute picture!

I will be happy when this flu season is over. Cory, Jordan and Isaiah and Bup and Matt all got it along with tons of my sixth graders. We've had so many kids out of school.

Isaiah got ringworm back. The only up-side is that now I know exactly what it looks like so I caught it early. The doctor said that he probably didn't get enough of the medicine that he took the last time for it. So she put him back on it for longer this time. The medicine comes in a liquid and my wonderful insurance company will only allow me to get 20 ml at a time and it costs $10 each time I refill it. The 20 ml will only lasts him less than a week. I know I shouldn't complain because that is much better than other's insurance, but it gets expensive. So I asked the doctor if she could possibly write the prescription up differently so that I could get more with my copay. She did! The pharmacist gave me a HUGE bottle of the medicine and I only have to refill it three times instead of 16 times! Do the math--that saves us over $130!

Speaking of saving money, we hit the JC Penny's sale on Friday. We did so good. All the kids got stuff. My kids get a lot of hand-me-downs--which helps us out so much. But they rarely get to go shopping and get new clothes. Penny's had name brand shirts and pants for under $3! So the kids got a bunch of really nice stuff. Corynne and I went into the dressing room and she tried on her clothes. It was so cute. She's never done that really before. It was so much fun. My friend Stef and her girls came also and they all tried on clothes together! Corynne got some really cute outfits.

Miah and Isaiah had basketball games today. They both won! Yeah! Jeremiah had a steal and he is quite excited about that!

Jordan and Cory visited Bethany College today. It is in West Virginia. They aren't home yet so I'm not sure how he liked it.

We are having a Youth Service at church tomorrow where are kids are in charge of the whole service. Isaiah has to "preach" the early message. We've been working on it. Pray for him!
