Easter break was so nice. The kids' room is finished and I love it! I ended up sponge painting two of the walls because I didn't think I liked the color. But now that everything is in the room, I like the plain walls and the sponged walls. We went to Ikea and got new dressers for the kids. That was one of the main problems. Isaiah and Jeremiah were using dressers that were my mom's when she was little. Since the dressers weren't big enough, Jeremiah also had an under the bed pull out thing with more clothes, and Isaiah had a plastic three drawer dresser in the closet. Miss Corynne had this huge changing table and another plastic dresser thing like Isaiah. Their room was constantly a mess. So we got them each a new dresser and I got rid of a lot of their clothes. Now there is a place for everything. My hope is that the kids will keep everything in its place.

We went to my mom's for Easter. We had church first and all the kids had to memorize and say an Easter speech. They all did very well. Corynne was funny--she ran up there and said her speech with all her attitude and then ran back to me. The kids did an Easter egg hunt here and then one at my dad's house. Bup's was much better than mine was. His clues were typed and they all rhymed. But since he is retired, he has more time than me, so his Easter egg hunt should be better than mine. Right? Well, I even combined all three little kids this year and made them hunt together. Bup made three individual ones for the kids. They loved it.

Matt's wedding is getting closer and we are all getting excited.

My mom's uncle Carmen died a few days ago so we are off to the funeral today. I feel like I have attended a lot of funerals recently. He was my grandfather, Pappy's, oldest brother and he LOVED Corynne. Everytime I went into Pittsburgh to see Pappy, he'd be hanging out the door of his house saying, "Bring that baby over here!" (All my grandfather's brothers and sisters lived on the same street in Pittsburgh--side by side all in a row.) I think that was neat--Cory always makes fun of that!

Please keep Cory's cousin Keli in prayer. Thanks!

Jess, ignor Cory when he makes fun of your family living close together. I think it's nice. Most of my mom's family (the Onestak's) live clumped together. At my first job, where my uncle worked with me, they used to call it "The Onestak Conclave."

I'm starting to get really excited about the wedding, too. I feel sort of like I do in October when I know the Christmas holidays are just around the corner. I love the anticipation of big events!
