It is amazing how I take simple things for granted. Our truck was in dire need of many repairs so it has been in the shop all week getting fixed. Cory and I had to do everything this week with one vehicle. That is quite a challenge with four children and two jobs! He took me to work a few days this week and picked me up. That was really nice--getting a ride to work. Tonight, he had to go to work and Isaiah had baseball pictures. The kids and I decided to walk. And it was so nice. We walked and talked and talked and walked. Hopefully our truck is fixed soon because Cory works all weekend so this could get a little bit tricky.
Yesterday, I went to Jeremiah's school for a Mother's Day Tea. We didn't actually drink tea--we drank pink lemonade instead--but you get the idea. It was so nice! Each child read a letter to their moms and they all sang songs to us. All the moms were wiping tears from their eyes. It was really special. Check Jeremiah's website out soon because I am sure his teacher will post pictures and their letters. In my letter, Jeremiah said that I am the best mom in the "hole world" and I wear make up and jewelry all the time. Isn't that cute!? Everybody laughed at that one. He also stated that I work at the Beaver Falls Middle School and when I get home from work, I am very very tired. Funny!
Corynne is loving her new bike. She rides for hours on the porch--circle after circle. She makes me sit out there with her. I don't mind though because she is so cute! And also--I am realizing how fast time flies. I can remember very vividly and clearly watching Jordan ride his bike at that age and now he is graduating and going off to college!
So glad today is Friday! Two days off will be wonderful!
