It's been awhile...sorry...I've been so busy.

Basketball is keeping me pretty busy. I am handling the money for the team and it is overwhelming to say the least.

Isaiah had a scrimmage at Monaca on Saturday. He did awesome. He had 18 points. Monaca is terrible though and we had to to play in a court the size of my kitchen and dining room combined. Isaiah didn't get too tired because there wasn't that far to run. His next scrimmage is on Thursday.

Rochester High school Football lost Friday night. I felt like I was watching the movie Groundhog Day. It was the SAME football game that I have watched for the past four years in a row. For some reason, we play great all season and then we choke on the really important games. The players didn't choke...the coaches did. The players never choke...the coaches always choke. That's all I will say about that!

We got a new couch and love seat. They are both sage green and I can't wait until they are sitting in my living room. We've been wanting to get a new couch for some time now, but we kept putting it off. Our couch is almost 12 years old and it is time for it to be thrown out. It is a sofa bed couch but we haven't used the sofa bed in over 7 years because I think someone spilled something on the matress and it is yucky. The cushions are so rubbed off that there are some areas where you cannot even tell what color it used to be. And to make matters worse, Jordan "slammed" one of his friends onto the side of the couch which broke the side arm. Needless to say...a new couch was long overdue! We got a really good deal on our new couch and love seat. My plan was to not buy a new couch until all my kids were grown and out of my house. That plan did not work, so I made sure we bought the fabric 7 year insurance. Now I guess I can let the kids sit on it!
