I made it through my first week back at school. I am totally and completely EXHAUSTED! It was a good week, just getting back into the routine is so tiring. Everyone had a nice week. Here are some updates:

Corynne loves kindergarten. She does not love Naveah. Naveah (Heaven spelled backwards) is a little girl in her class who likes to talk all the time. She bothers Corynne while Corynne is trying to do her work. Corynne does not like that at all. Corynne loves packing her "own" lunch and getting her book bag ready each night. Do you remember those days when you were so excited to go to school that you packed your lunch and book bag like a million times to get ready?!

Isaiah is at the high school. I am still a bit nervous, but he has assured me that he is fine. He loves it. He really likes the ala carte lines in the cafeteria! He can get just about whatever he wants. Except for the fact that today, he bought peanut butter and jelly. Yeah...spend $2 on peanut butter and jelly when I have it in my cupb0ard! Ahh

Jeremiah is so happy to be back at school. He missed it so much. He really likes his teacher. She actually taught Jordan in 6th grade, but now moved down to 2nd.

Me: I got all the learning support students in my homeroom again this year. I have 12 learning support in one classroom. It actually isn't too bad, until we try to open those lockers! The funny thing with these kids is that just because they open their lockers a few times on their own, does not mean they have mastered that skill of opening a locker. And it will be day 168 and some of them will still be asking me to open their locker. lol!

Best student names this year:
Katyah: Prounounced: Ka--Tie--Ah
Yakez: Pronounced: Yoh--kes
Niere: Pronounced: Ni--ear
Kashius: Pronounced: Cash--us

WOW! I guess we can safely ask these parents, "what were you thinking?"

I can't believe Isaiah is at the high school!

Congratulations on making through your first week. Our middle school teachers complain about opening lockers too, especially for my kids!

I'm guessing this child isn't German, but I think the name is a derivation of a German name.

I can't believe Isaiah is at the high school either. Doesn't Rochester have a middle school?

Jessie,
I wish I had names that easy; I have
Valjdete
Lulkuke
Kalyscia
Eshrak
Tsehainseh
Shajia
Rawnaq
Tuulikki
Phitsamay
Yanhua
Phonsavanh

Take pity on me; I will have to pronounce those names at some point. I have started to become fluent in Chinese and Arabic, lol
