I hate teaching on full moon weeks.

I have posted about this before and the fact that Cory doesn't believe that my students act crazy when there is a full moon. I don't care what my lovely hubby says, the full moon affects my students. I told him to just wait until he is a guidance counselor and he will definitely see what I am talking about.

Let me explain how the moon affected my week:
One student banged his head off the locker a lot of times. (like at least 20 times)
One student repeatedly banged the mouse and computer keys very hard because he kept putting in the wrong password.
I saw at least five students (not exaggerating) literally lay down on the hallway floor for various reasons.
In addition to this, students passed gas, forgot where their classes were, cried huge tears, got into fights, said bad words, skipped class, told teachers to "shut up" and my personal favorite, made really strange non-human sounds that if I didn't know any better, I would have thought there were farm animals in my classroom.

Not just the kids were moon crazy...the adults weren't too far behind them.
I saw a janitor decide to leave vomit on a lunch table while the other kids were eating for God knows what reason. Then I saw the same janitor not move a muscle while I and the assistant principal cleaned the table and floor so the kids could finish their lunches.

Then tonight I watched a woman drive up on a curb going at least 40 miles an hour. Needless to say, she jacked her car and her tire up. Another woman fell in the Target parking lot. Well, not just fell, she tripped, then fell, then rolled and thankfully....laughed.
I then had a very nasty McDonald's worker mess up Corynne's drink and then get mad at me when I told her I wanted her to remake it correctly. A saleslady at Children's Place had an attitude because she had to stop folding clothes and ring me out at the cash register.

I mean, seriously! What a day! Now I guess these incidents could all be coincidences and there are many other reasons to justify this crazy behavior. I like to attribute it to the moon. I am just happy that the moon doesn't make me crazy! lol
