Today was the busiest day ever! I sat down two times--once to eat lunch--(Cory made lobster scrambled eggs--yum!) and the second time was to eat dinner.
We made 7 different kinds of cookies. I have no idea why I decided to do that!
The weather was so nice today that I took the kids for a long walk. They have been cooped up for so long because of the cold weather.
The weather people drive me crazy! All they have been doing is fussing and complaining about the snow and the ice and the cold. Now me personally, being a teacher, I LOVE the snow and I LOVE two-hour delays. It can snow every day all day for all I care. I believe that the snow comes to slow us all down. We are always so busy.
But anyway, today the weather people were complaining because it won't be snowing on Christmas day!!
Cory is off to work--he works 6PM to 6AM. And I haven't wrapped any gifts yet!! So I am going to watch Ralphie and wrap until I am done. I really hope that I don't run out of wrapping paper. That would not be too good.
This is a picture of our front steps. The boys and I made luminaries. (I hope that is spelled right.) My dad always put these out front of our house when we were growing up. Luminaires are paper bags with candles in them. You are supposed to put these on your side walk outside your house. They are there to lead Baby Jesus to your house. I asked Isaiah if he knew what luminaries were and why we put them out front of our house. He said, "So Santa can find my house."
