Cory started making pens this year. He recently got a lathe and has started spinning wooden and acrylic pens. He had quiet a few orders for Christmas this year. They are really beautiful. Here are a few of the acrylic pens he has done.
We went to my mom's for dinner tonight. It was our Christmas dinner since Cory has to work the next four days! Matt is also working on Christmas, so we tried to do our dinner this evening. But Matt couldn't make it because he had to go into work. He is picking Jordan up at 12 AM to go weight lifting. Are they crazy or what?! I think they are trying to work off that piece of birthday cake from Monday. Turns out that wasn't an approved diet food. (smile)
The kids had so much fun at Grammie's and Bup's opening their presents. My parents spoil them so bad that it isn't even funny. After seeing all they got, I think Santa can return a few gifts that he was going to bring them on Christmas morning.
The kids were so funny though. Everytime Jeremiah opened something, he said, "Thank you! That was just what I needed!" Now how do you "need" a fisher price playdough dog kennel set?!
Corynne was fascinated with the wrapping paper. She took forever to open her presents!
Isaiah said, "Thank You Jesus!" after every present that he opened. Then he did his touchdown dance.
Jordan got that Scene it Sports game. It is pretty cool. We all played it. My team lost--which usually doesn't go over too well with me, but since it was almost 11 PM, I took the loss gracefully!

Those pens are really cool! Can I buy one after I get my Christmas money?
Yes, he does orders all year long. I am going to post some wooden ones that he can do also. He can also get them engraved with your name. Let me know when you want one, and we can send you a brochure.
