1. One of the girls at school today pushed a boy half way across the room because he called her mom a "crack-head". I asked her if he even knew her mom. She said "no". Then I asked her if her mom indeed was a "crack head". She again said "no". So I asked her if pushing him was necessary. She started crying.
2. As I was handling the "crack-head" dilemna, another student screamed at the top of her lungs and used some profanity. After she said the worst bad word ever, SHE began crying hysterically.
(Both of the above things happened on the way to lunch--not during my classes.)
3. Our seventh graders went to the zoo today. We have a few seventh graders who have trouble acting like actual human beings so they weren't allowed to join their class on the field trip. One of these little angels "stowed away" on the bus and snuck on the field trip. The teachers didn't figure it out until they were at the zoo in Pittsburgh. There he was in Pittsburgh--no jacket, no money and no lunch! Plus he was in for a ton of trouble once they got back to school!
4. There were so many people at Walmart after work today! I quit going on Saturdays because there were way too many people there. Fridays were a little bit better. Well either everyone and their mother figured out what I figured out about Fridays, or it is just a full moon today. They had four lines opened up and there were 4-5 people in every line. Each of those people in line had full buggies!
5. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, the cashier charged me for 5 packs of hotdogs. I had only bought 2 packs! (I know we have a big family, but come on!) So I had to get back into line at the service desk to get my $7.50!
6. Isaiah has more energy than all of the sixth graders at my school combined!
I'm not complaining. It was just a crazy day and I am totally exhausted. But it is Friday so no work tomorrow AND we only have three more weeks of school so I know I can make it!!!
Bup comes home tomorrow!!

I'm dying to know who the crazy kids are!!! I missed our lunch yesterday :-) it's one of the few things that I will miss over the summer.
Walmart is always crazy, but at least you're done...I still have to go!
