10 Days and counting...
I think I may be getting a tad bit stressed. I'm trying not too though. My mom and I made 18 dozen pizzells last night. It wasn't as bad I thought it was going to be. Once Grammie gets going, she can fly! We were all done by 7:00--just in time to give all the kids a bath and watch Surivor! I addressed and stamped all of my Christmas cards--they aren't as cute as last year, but what are you going to do? The thing that is stressing me out is that I still have to get a few gifts--and I really really really don't like to be at stores when there are a million people. They get on my nerves so bad. That's why I had found the perfect time to get my groceries at Walmart--which doesn't matter anymore because Walmart is always crazy now that Christmas is so close.
Okay, enough of all that. We had 9 windows delivered yesterday. So now in my garage I have an entire set of kitchen cabinets--complete with countertop and sink and now 9 windows! I need a contractor!
I think my sixth graders are ready for Christmas break because they haven't been too interested in working in Reading class. I gave them pop quizzes all week on the material they were supposed to read for homework. Didn't you used to hate when teachers did that to you? I did too. But I was trying to prove a point!
My dad is in Alabama for one day of meetings. As you can imagine, he is not too thrilled. He got there yesterday afternoon and he will be back tonight.

jess your contractor has only taken 4 days off in a month and a half. I think someone is watching over him cuz the weather has been great for dec. He is outside doing a mega pond ,waterfalls and deck.
I got your Christmas card today and your kids look gorgeous as always!
Good luck this week at school.
