The game was so good last night. The first half wasn't. It was tied 0-0 at halftime and we had blown a ton of chances to score. But I am not sure what went on in the locker room at halftime, but our boys came out and scored 15 points in 4 minutes. Then they went on to beat Ft. Cherry 35-6! It was the best game I have ever seen at Rochester. It was so much more exciting than blowing out all those teams we blew out last year. Our boys played so good and with so much heart. Now we take on the WPIAL defending champs and number 1 seed Clairton on Friday night. Those things mean nothing to me though--number 1 seed and defending champs--we can beat them! We believe.

I have a quick praise report. God is so good! I was getting ready for Jordan's game last evening. I had a candle burning on the stove. Jeremiah waved a piece of paper over the candle. It caught on fire. Then he threw the burning piece of paper into the garbage can. The whole can caught on fire. Thank God he had the mind to come and tell me. I ran downstairs and saw the fire in the garbage can. I got it out quickly. There was black soot all over the walls and the counter tops. I think that another minute or two, my cabinets would have been up in flames. But God did not let that come to pass and for that I am so greatful. I have been telling Jeremiah how proud I am of him. (Not for starting the fire, but for telling me.) He couldn't have tried to hide it because he thought he was going to get in trouble. And if that would have happened, we would have lost that beautiful new kitchen! Like I said, God is so good!

And some more great news. Buppy's house is SOLD! My dad and his siblings are very happy.

We had a parent meeting today for Isaiah's bantam basketball team. The coach said he needs $75 from each of us this week! And that doesn't even cover all the expenses this season. We have to fundraise later in the year to come up with the rest of the money. I think that is outrageous. But I must be on my own because all the other parents were like, "Okay, who do we make the check out to?" I guess the majority of this money is for their uniforms. They should just get some
t-shirts made for $10 and get some blue shorts and call it a year! Wow!

I bought a huge container of vitamin C and some iron pills. I am tired of being sick. It is going on four weeks and my throat still hurts a little bit. Cory's dad said vitamin C keeps him healthy so we are going to try that!
