14 hours until party time.

i am exhausted.

i made 18 pounds of rigatoni and 10 pounds of pasta salad today. Thank God my good friend Stefanie came over to help me.

Joshua, my other good friend, came over and helped me all day with whatever i needed him to do. He is such a sweetheart! He doesn't roll his eyes at me, or make fun of me, or fuss at me or get irritated with me. (like other people do) He just tells me that I am the boss and whatever I want is fine. Why can't all of my family members have this same attitude.

I haven't slept too well this week. I'm not sure why--probably when the party is over, I will rest better.

Bup's knee is still pretty bad. He came home from work early to rest it and he is off the weekend so hopefully it starts to feel better.

Did you hear about the lady suing Victoria Secrets because she had a thong mishap? A piece of metal from her thong popped off the underwear and hit her in the eye and scratched her cornea. She looks pretty old--maybe she should stick to old lady granny underwear in the future. But seriously, suing?? That is crazy. It is just unfortunate that the metal hit her in the eye. It could have just as easily hit her forehead or nose or cheek. Is suing really necessary? She and her attorney claim that this lawsuit is not about the money--but instead about other consumers who may have similar issues with their thongs. That is a bunch of baloney! It is always about the money! Why is this society so sue happy? I was teaching my students about the Holocaust in April and one of my students wanted to know why the Jews just didn't sue Hitler for treating them bad?! Unbelievable...
