I got my tree. The only trees they had were either 6 foot or 8 foot trees. That is very tall. I got a 6 foot tree and it is huge. I decided to put it in my foyer rather than my living room. It is pretty. The kids helped decorate it. We had a little bit of a battle regarding the tree topper. Isaiah bought me this angel a few years ago that goes on the top of the tree. He wanted me to put that on. But Little Miss Corynne made an angel at school that she wanted me to put on the tree. So after a lengthy discussion, we compromised and the angel toppers are now side by side.
I don't have to go to work today. I am going to the Scholastic Book Warehouse at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh to buy books for our school. What a cool day...I get paid to go shopping! It is a nice break from the craziness there at our middle school.
Jordan will be home tomorrow and he is bringing us a little something with him---seems he got ringworm back! What is with that stupid fungus?! He has had it a bunch of times! The last time he got it, I took him straight to the dermatologist and the fungus was cleared up very quickly. So I guess we will be taking a trip to the doctor next week.
Cory and I are doing our annual Christmas shopping trip this weekend. Like I said in the other post, I have not bought one gift yet. I am not stressed or concerned though, because we do this every year. I just try not to listen to my "ultra-organized" teacher friends who were done shopping and wrapping in November. We'll just take our time and get it done. I really look forward to this weekend. It is a nice getaway and break. I will actually be able to think straight for two days.
Are you supposed to tip Christmas tree salesmen?

We got our tree yesterday too. We bought it a Home Depot in Cranberry. I don't know if you're supposed to tip those people. I guess it depends on how much they do for you.
I can't believe Jordan has ringworm again. Eww!
Tell Jordan to wash his bath towel a bit more often...do not wear other's clothing....wash his hands...see if these suggestions help.
