Little Miss Corynne caught a bad virus the other day. We were swimming at my friend's house and she got out of the pool and wanted me to hold her. That is so unlike her. She only gets out of the pool so that she can jump back in! She had a fever and a sore throat. She also threw up a few times that night and slept a lot. I took her to the doctor to make sure she didn't have strep throat. Turns out she has some really really contagious virus that gives you a fever and bad ulcers in your throat. They sometimes call it the "hoof and mouth" disease. You can actually get blisters on the palms of your hand or the soles of your feet. Jordan used to get this little virus all the time. I hate to say it, but I think I am getting it also. I saw a few ulcers in my throat and it is starting to hurt. I get this a lot too and it is HORRIBLE. I would much rather have strep--You get an antibiotic with strep and you feel better within two days. With this virus, it can last over a week! So pray for us. We have to be healthy by Friday!

It is the Coxsackievirus. Taylor had it about a month ago. Her throat was very sore and she was pretty upset that she couldn't eat chips! She was better in about 3 days.
Mary, you really have to learn to type and not just bang on the keys to make up words. "Coxsackievirus" yeah right!
