Jeremiah is getting better and better by the day. I stopped giving him the tylenol with codiene today and opted for just regular tylenol. I am going to ask his doctor about speech when I take him to his next appointment. He's having some trouble with some of his letters. I think he is still getting used to his new tongue.
Isaiah had an all star tournament this weekend for baseball. He played really well. He is the third baseman. He leads his team in stolen bases. So far, they are 2-1 in the tournament. There are also two other teams who are 2-1--those other two teams get to play in the championship game while Rochester has to play in the consolation game that determines 3rd or 4th place. I guess to figure out who made it to the championship game, they looked at how many total runs scored each team had. I think that is really stupid. I think they should have designed a tournament where something like that would not have happened. Most other tournaments have a loser's bracket that a team falls into when they lose. His last game is tomorrow.
Jordan's toe is getting better also. I don't know if I blogged about his toe or not. Apparently at some point of his high school football career, he injured his big toe under the toe nail. This injury caused the bone to spike and grow up out of his toe nail. The doctor had to remove part of his toe nail and then cut down into the nail bed and then file down this spiked bone. The doctor did all this in the office with Jordan awake. They numbed his toe up really well though. How disgusting does all that sound?! You have to be a special special person to want to deal with people's feet all day long and do things like that to people's feet. The nurse asked me if I wanted to go in the room with Jordan. I told her that my stomach is hurting just hearing what the doctor was planning on doing to his foot! The toe is getting better. It doesn't hurt as much as it did the first day.
The wedding countdown is on--only two weeks from today. I am so happy for Matt and Kristen. I've been picking up some odds and ends that we need for the wedding. I got the boys shoes--I caught a really good deal at JC Penny's--buy one get one half off--Stacey Adams Dress shoes. I haven't let them wear them to church though. Jeremiah is really mad about that. I am still looking for ivory shoes for Corynne. Every store carries white--but not ivory. Kristen let me borrow a pair of her shoes that I can wear in the wedding. They are so nice and that saves me time and money! Thanks Kristen! Cory and Jordan still need shoes and I need some kind of bra that will work with my dress. Cory has been searching online for bras for me. Is that weird or thoughtful??
People keep asking me if I am enjoying my summer.
The answer is absolutely yes, I am!

That is funny about Cory bra shopping. I think it can be considered weird and thoughtful all at the same time. :) If I had read your blog yesterday, I would have totally made fun of him for that last night.
he just wanted an excuse to look around on victoria's secret website. clever, cory.
and once again Jamie is the only one that understands me. that's my girl. and by the way i was helping jess look for a backless, strapless bra. it has less complications, very easy access.
