Why?

Why is it that one sunny, fairly-warm day drives our sixth grade girls to dig out their skimpiest clothes and try to wear them to school?

Why did Corynne's doctors office send me to the Hopewell office for her appointment knowing I'd probably get lost and be 40 minutes late for her appointment?

Why is my two year old daughter able take a child proof seal and a child proof cap off a bottle of medicine?

Why did I rush home from work yesterday, hurry up and cook dinner (before the doctor's office fiasco) and then none of my kids wanted to eat?

I'm not trying to complain, but yesterday was a crazy day. Corynne's doctor's appointment was at 3:50, but I didn't get there until 4:30. The nurses were so nice to me though. I was very frazzled by the time I got there. I've only been to the office one time and Cory was with me. He took me there another way, which I didn't remember. I got very very lost. The good news is that Corynne is fine. It is just a bad cold. The nice doctor gave me a sample of medicine. On the way home, Corynne opened the box of medicine, peeled off the child proof seal, opened the child proof cap and poured all of the medicine on herself. It was to the point that I couldn't even get upset anymore!

So after dinner--which no one ate--Isaiah went to baseball, Jeremiah went to Royal Rangers, Jordan went to musical practice and Cory went to work. Corynne and I took a very very long walk. We walked almost three miles. It was much needed. By the time I got home, I felt much better.

In other news, Jordan's musical, Hello Dolly, begins tonight and runs through Saturday night. It is at the Rochester Auditorium.

It's okay, we all need to complain sometimes. And just think, maybe you got all of the "bad" things out in one day and now the rest of the week will be golden!!
And you worry about Corynne, obviously the child is a genius! Sometimes I can't get those seals and caps off of the medicine bottles :-)
Tell Jordan to Break a leg!!

Jessie,
You are one patient woman, I would have snapped on someone by now, which is the reason God gave me one child instead of a house full. God bless you, he only gives us what we can bear, God really thinks a lot of you. Hang in there, this too shall pass.

I sometimes feel like I couldn't get any angrier too. Don't worry in a couple years all the hassle and worry will be gone and you'll be left alone peace and quiet;)
