Potty Training...

I decided to try and potty train Corynne this week. It's been two days. I'm not sure if we're making progress or not yet. I got her little Dora underwear but I also bought Dora pull ups. She likes the pull ups better than the underwear. But pull ups don't work well for potty training because she can't feel that she's wet. Well I thought she was doing well until....

We went to my mom's yesterday so that Corynne and I could get our hair cut. This was Corynne's first haircut. She did not like it one bit. So we ended up only cutting a tiny bit off of her hair. Anyway...My mom took Corynne to the bathroom and Corynne peed. Three minutes later, Corynne was sitting on my mom's recliner chair (which my mom just got cleaned) and Corynne peed again--all over the chair!!

My boys were so hard to potty train--with the exception of Isaiah. He was fairly easy. But I just thought Corynne would be a breeze after the boys! We'll see.

Jessie,
I had such a hard time potty training Justin, I gave up; my mom succeeded in just one weekend. He is the reason I did not want to have other children; I knew I would have to go through potty training again. :-)(just kidding)

Oooooooooooohh, poor Corynne and recliner chair! I remember I stayed on the"training potty" until I was almost three! I had to sit on the real toilet to what I thought forever. That helped a lot. You should try it out!

Steph,
I got about 4 inches cut off of my hair, but it really doesn't look too much different. As a matter of fact, no one at church even noticed it. So I think I'm going to have my mom cut some more off. I want it a couple inches off of my shoulders. We'll see!

Yana is so full of wisdom - HA Yana was trained early, but went to the bathroom every time I went. Just take her when you go, and ask her often. Even when she says she doesn't take her anyway. And then clap alot when the deed is done!
