1. Buppy's viewing is Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 at Jefferson Funeral home and cemetary in Pleasant Hills. His funeral is at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth's on Wednesday. I just took all three days off of work this week so I can get things together. My boss is awesome. According to our contract, we only get one day off when a grandparent dies. That's ridiculous. But my boss let me take 2 sick days in addition to my funeral day. Now, Cory gets three days off for my grandfather's death--now figure that one out.

2. So far, the family is doing really well. Thank you for your prayers. Everyone is getting along and working together--that is definitely prayer answered.

3. My aunt Paula made a quilt out of Buppy's old ties after he retired from Duquense Light. It is amazing. (I will blog a picture whenever I get the camera working again.) You should see this quilt. Buppy kept it on his bed. It is truly awesome--she is so crafty. Who would have ever have thought to do that with ties.

4. Buppy is being laid out in his jeans, flannel shirt and Pittsburgh Pirate's hat.

5. We're trying to find a place to have a dinner after the funeral. My aunt and uncle thought of a place so they went to make arrangements there and found out that it just recently burned down.

6. I told Jordan and Isaiah that Buppy passed away. But I forgot to tell Jeremiah. So we were out driving Saturday night and Jordan's friend was in the car. I told him that my grandfather died. And little Jeremiah said, "Buppy died???" I felt horrible. On top of that, Jordan kept saying, " I can't believe you forgot to tell him. I can't believe you forgot to tell him." Well, we will just stick that story in the category of "Mistakes I made" and just leave it alone.
