The kitchen is coming along. We are tired. It is so much work. But we are trying to fix the many mistakes of the previous homeowners. So the job is taking longer than anticipated. But I just keep envisioning it being beautiful. Cory is tired also. He hates construction work.

Going back to work after being off for 11 days kind of stinks. Once you get back, you don't even feel like you had time off. The teachers said that the kids were so so so bad the week before Easter break. So I guess it was good that I wasn't there. :-)

The wake for Jordan's friend is tonight and his funeral is tomorrow. They are having his funeral in the highschool auditorium so that there will be enough room to hold all of the people that would like to go. The school is also giving the kids an early dismissal so that they can all go. The principal had the local pastor come in and talk to all of the students. Jordan said it was really good.

So how 'bout Imus? My dad and I disagree on this subject. I know he blogged his opinions on his blog. Now I am going to blog my opinions on my blog. Seriously, what in the world is wrong with Don Imus for making a comment like that? He wasn't sitting in a bar with his buddies, or in his house with his family, he was on the national media for ALL to hear. I totally agree that he should be pulled. You can't just say anything you feel like saying whenever you want to say it. You are not a little kid. You are a grown man who should know that there are consequences to actions--and there are bad consequences for stupid actions. What he said was just nasty. Now, the Rutgers don't need to get too upset--consider your source. But Imus needs to go.

....You must forgive your father , Jess, and understand.....White, male, middle aged, Christian upper management people are the most discriminated portion of our society. They have been put upon so much by the underprivileged and people of forethought, that sometimes they have to defend the indefensible.....Oh by the way that behavior by Imus should not be tolerated anywhere , not in a bar or a family setting, or between friends. Unless, maybe, everyone knows it is said sarcastically and not just in jest.
