Our students at school were a little bit rowdy today. That is unusual for a Monday. Usually they don't start getting wild until at least Wednesday. One of my students didn't take his medicine today. For all of those who aren't advocates for Ritalin, you don't know this student of mine. He literally flew up and down the halls between every period. He came to my room and didn't have his Reading book. So I sent him to his locker to get it. (a trip that should have taken 45 seconds at the most) Well I proceeded to teach and forgot that he never came back to class. So about 25 minutes later, the teacher next door to me came into my room and asked if that particular student was supposed to be in my room at that time. I said "yes" then remembering that I sent him out a long time ago. Guess what the little un-medicated "angel" was doing?? He was sitting in the bathroom eating cereal.
Now #1---That is really gross--why would you eat food in the bathroom?
#2---How in the world could I not know he was gone that long?
and #3--RITALIN WORKS WONDERS!!
I guess every other work place in the tri-state area is having "Steeler Week". We are only having it on Friday. So to support our team, I will blog different photos of the Steelers all week! Have you checked superbowl ticket prices? When you get some free time, check it out on the internet. It is amazing! I wish I had some just so I could sell them on ebay!
GO STEELERS!

I can't believe that you guys are only having Steeler Friday. We got a notice at the hospital, last Friday, that we could wear Steeler garb every day until the SuperBowl. That's why April and I were among the crazy people at Wal-Mart on Sat. buying shirts! Josh wanted me to get my nails done in Steeler colors. I kind of thought that patients waking up in the recovery room might be scared if I come toward them with black nails. They always question where they are when they wake up. You should have seen some of the patients on Halloween when we had nurses dressed up as angels....and also as devils! he-he-he
The students were wild yesterday, was it a full moon??? I used to be one of those people who was totally against kids on meds...that was in my "I'm going to save the world" days! Some kids just need that little extra help, but for all of you who don't agree, the majority of kids do grow out of it and are able to function "normally" without them by highschool :-)
As for the Steeler's day on Friday you will be happy to know that I have finally purchased a Shirt! I have never owned a Steeler's shirt of my own. I always wore one of my husbands and they are tooo big and sloppy to wear to work so I'm excited that I will be able to participate in Fridays festivities :-) You know I'm a little nervous b/c I haven't worn black and gold all season and of course what I wear has EVERYTHING to do with the Steeler's winning or losing (ha-ha). Lizzie will be wearing her pink shirt that she has worn for everygame so I think that will balance things out (I hope). I'll try to remember to take a picture of her on Sunday and post it on my blog.
Okay my question is....where did the cereal come from? lol I was cracking up when I read that one!!
We think he stole the cereal. We were actually wondering about the same thing.
