Today is Friday and it's payday and it's Cory's weekend off!! So there is really no reason not to SMILE!!
Well, okay I have one reason not to smile--I put my skirt on for work today. It used to hang off of me, but today it fit! I haven't washed this skirt in a while which means it did not shrink. So this can mean only one thing--that cookie diet of mine really doesn't work. I may seriously have to consider freezing those cookies or throwing them out!
On a serious note, I do have a million reasons to smile and to be thankful. I am going to list just a few:
*God Loves me!
*I have a wonderful husband.
*I have 4 beautiful, happy, healthy children.
*I have 2 wonderful, loving, thoughtful parents. And 2 wonderful, loving parent-in-laws.
*I have my health and a sound mind.
*I have wonderful family members and friends.
*I can see, hear, talk, eat, dress myself, dress my kids, and walk.
*I have a house to live in. It has running water and electricity. Heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. I have food in the refrigerator and in the cupboards. The yard may not be enormous, but I don't live in a war zone, a gang neighborhood, or a flood area.
*I could go on and on....
Sometimes you really have to take a second and just think of all the things that God has blessed us with. You can't do anything but....SMILE

Cory you must be doing something right, 2nd to God is awesome, and she's still smiling, whoa!

jessie you have made me smile since you were a baby and now your children do. keep helping people count their blessings.We love your dad and he has to be around for a long long time.
Jess, Thank you for being such a wonderful and caring person and friend :-) You make coming to work a little easier :-) This list reminded me that I'm blessed and that it is important to focus on the positives rather than negatives!!
