Saturday!

Today was a busy Saturday as usual. We started the day at 7AM! Jeremiah and Corynne were bright eyed very early this morning. Jeremiah had swimming lessons at the YMCA. He did so good today. He was able to swim all by himself. We were very excited because that was the first time he has done that. It was kind of funny because he wasn't moving forward, but he wasn't sinking either.

Then we went to Isaiah's basketball game. He had two points and they won the game.

After that, all the kids took a nap and I went to Walmart. Why in the world would I do that to myself on a beautiful Saturday afternoon?! It was CRAZY! I stood in line to check out for over a half an hour. It wasn't too bad, though. I read People's magazine cover to cover! I think that the Walmart shoppers are slightly confused because they think that tomorrow is the Super Bowl. People were ordering chicken, buying pop and snacks, and rummaging through Steeler shirts like they were crazy. For a second I thought that maybe the shirts were super cheap or free because of the way they were acting.

So after that, I went home, put the groceries away, ran upstairs to get changed and heard Corynne calling me. Nap time was over and I hadn't even sat down yet. But the weather was way too nice to sit in the house. We went to the park across the street from our house. It was so nice outside. Isaiah practiced his dribbling while Jeremiah and Corynne rode the swings.

Well....now that everyone is a good swimmer, did your mom and dad order the pool yet??? Remind them that this may be the best time to buy. Not too many people order pools in Jan. so they may be able to really negotiate a great deal. I would be willing to go with them as I am blessed with the gift of persuasiveness...he-he-he! Love the pics of the kids!

We are still trying to persuade. They got that little one last year and it required as much if not more work than a big pool would have. So we'll see. You definatley have the gift of negotiation.

How cute are your babies!!!
I love Corynne's hair, now does she sit nice while you do that? Lizzie puts up such a fight when I try to put what little hair she has in piggy tails :-) It sounds like you had a nice weekend. Back here again :-( Can't wait to walk at lunch...that's about the only thing that drags me to work! Happy Monday!

Sometimes she sits and sometimes she doesn't . It depends on what kind of mood she is in. I usally give her the box of hair things and put something on tv she likes.
